We finally got a piece of the pie

So I tried a couple different ways to show you this BIG event in our life. Not much was going to work other than this screen shot of the pictures of....(drum roll, please) our new HOUSE! Yup, we did it. We managed to buy in the Bay Area. Not exactly where we're living now but not too far away either. We put an offer on this house back at Christmas. It was a short sale and it was kind of a long shot. And we weren't really suppose to even think about moving in for 6-8 months. But, against other offers, against the problems with banks in short sales, and against all other odds, we got it and we got it quickly!

It's in Fremont and it's in a nice neighborhood. It backs up to the elementary school that seems like it should be a good school (all the numbers indicate so) and we have LDS neighbors just two doors up with a 14 year old girl who LOVES to babysit! How much better can it get...oh wait, it does... just two blocks up is a Chevy's! Life is good!

We'll be very busy the next two days but hopefully by Monday when life semi resumes to a routine and we have internet in our new house and somewhere to sit, we'll post again about the house. The kids are excited, Joel and I are super excited, and it's kind of unbelievable it all has happened so fast.
